Portable Restart Explorer v1.6
Windows Explorer (also known as File Explorer) is a file management tool that gives you a graphical user interface for accessing your files.
Windows Explorer was first released with Windows 95 and is used to search for files and directories on your computer. You may need to restart your computer in a variety of situations. It’s possible that you’ve updated your system, installed new software, or that your computer has just shut down.
All of these conditions almost always necessitate a system restart. Small issues (Windows Explorer freezing, you can’t delete some files, etc.) can be resolved by just restarting Windows Explorer.
The difference between this software and others is that if you open the my computer, control panel, recycle bin… folder (which does not have a normal address) and restart windows explorer, the open windows will not come back. However, with the “Restart explorer” command, these open windows can be restored. It also has Command prompt support; use the “Rexplorer.exe /?” command to see all of the supported parameters.
You can use it not only for restart File explorer. It can also be used for Refresh Windows explorer and Rebuild Icon cache.
Supported operating systems: Windows 11 , Windows 10 , Windows 8.1 , Windows 8 , Windows 7 , Windows Vista , Windows Xp – (x86 & x64)
